You moved countries. Maybe more than once.

On paper everything looks great, but inside you feel like something doesn't fit.

This is a space for expats to navigate the emotional side of relocation - the identity crisis, the loneliness, the limbo no one really warned you about.

hi, i'm Zuza

In 12 years I have moved countries 4 times across Europe and in Asia.

I know what relocation means and what are its hidden costs - identity crisis, lost friendships, loneliness, the rollercoaster that takes you from excitement to despair over and over again.

I also went from working in corporate environments, to being a stay-at-home mum for several years.

I experienced burnout, depression and feeling profoundly lost. Then through a mix of therapy, yoga, meditation and somatic practices I was able to find a way back to myself.

The shift that came from that process has inspired me to look for a professional path that would incorporate the modalities I found so healing. This is how I came across The Somatic School – ICF Certified Coaching Training and having went through the programme I certified as a Somatic Life Coach both for individuals and groups.

My coaching goes beyond the thinking mind and talking things through.

We slow down and pay attention to what's actually happening. Not the stories your head is telling you, but what your body and emotions already know. (It turns out they usually figured it out before your mind caught up.)

You don't need fixing. You need space.

To slow down, feel what's actually there, and decide what to carry forward and what to leave behind.

If any of this sounds familiar, let's talk.

How I work

Most coaching stays in the head — talking through problems, setting goals, making plans. That works up to a point. But when you're in a big life change and your mind is running in circles, more thinking isn't the answer.

Our minds love to tell us stories — about what's wrong, what needs fixing, what we should be afraid of. When you're in a big life change, those stories get louder and faster, and they start running on a loop.

In my work, we ask the mind to pause for a moment. Before it rides off into the sunset, readying for some potential battle. We turn the volume down on the thinking and notice what else is there.

That tension in your shoulders. The heaviness in the pit of your stomach. Those sensations carry information — about how you actually feel, what you actually need, and what's possible from here. Sometimes just giving them space, welcoming them like you would a friend, is enough to shift something that months of thinking couldn't move.

This isn't breathwork or movement class. It's not therapy.

It's coaching that takes the whole person seriously — informed by nervous system research, grounded in science, and designed for people who are ready to try something beyond just talking about it.

You might recognise some this...

feeling stuck

STUCK IN A LOOP

Your head keeps running the same thoughts and nothing changes. You can't think your way out of this.

Hiker On Cliff

ON EDGE AND EXHAUSTED

Your body is running on stress — the alertness, the tension, the difficulty switching off. There is a reason for it, and it's not that something's wrong with you.

big decisions

IN BETWEEN LIVES

The old life doesn't fit. The new one hasn't formed yet. You're in a limbo and you don't know which way to go.

reconnect

OUT OF TOUCH WITH YOURSELF

You used to know who you were, where home was, what you wanted. Now that everything has changed and nothing feels familiar, you need some space to reconnect.

overwhelm

HOLDING IT TOGETHER

Managing the logistics, the bureaucracy, unfamiliar customs, new language while trying "to make the most of it".

Fuel Gauge Indicator

RUNNING ON EMPTY

No support, no solid ground, your relationships have changed, you talk to your family once a month - it all can leave you feeling under-resourced and alone.

how do we work together?

This is a space to slow down — properly slow down — and see what's actually happening here.

Without judgement, pressure, or need to "fix" anything,

we notice what your mind has been telling you and we pay attention to what your body and emotions might be trying to communicate.

We start with where you are. You share what's going on, and together we find a way forward — not by thinking harder, but by noticing what's already there.
